What I Love This Week

  1. The Tower of London WWI Poppy Memorial – Artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper installed this piece as a Memorial to the fallen soldiers of WWI. It’s an amazing piece.
  2. The WWI Victims Memorial – Equally amazing is this companion piece for the Victims of WWI. It’s amazing how melting ice can pull at the heart strings.
  3. A Capella ‘Burning Ring of Fire’ – I love the Pentatonix. What they have been able to accomplish in such a short time and what their talent are awe inspiring. So when I saw that Avi was part of this project I had to see it.
  4. Home Free – As often happens the above link lead me to the main group that put together the arrangement of the above song. That they’re country and from Minneapolis? Bonus!
  5. The Buried Box Found in China – In college I was an anthropology/archeology major among other things. So this story about the box found by a road crew in China immediately grabbed my attention. Makes me wish I had been alright with being in academia for the rest of my life.
