What I Love This Week
- The Tower of London WWI Poppy Memorial – Artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper installed this piece as a Memorial to the fallen soldiers of WWI. It’s an amazing piece.
- The WWI Victims Memorial – Equally amazing is this companion piece for the Victims of WWI. It’s amazing how melting ice can pull at the heart strings.
- A Capella ‘Burning Ring of Fire’ – I love the Pentatonix. What they have been able to accomplish in such a short time and what their talent are awe inspiring. So when I saw that Avi was part of this project I had to see it.
- Home Free – As often happens the above link lead me to the main group that put together the arrangement of the above song. That they’re country and from Minneapolis? Bonus!
- The Buried Box Found in China – In college I was an anthropology/archeology major among other things. So this story about the box found by a road crew in China immediately grabbed my attention. Makes me wish I had been alright with being in academia for the rest of my life.
